4 March 2004

Been busy moving into my new house and trying to beat the 14' skiffs around the course at Black Rock on the weekends in a variety of wind and wave conditions. Getting close now though!

For some interesting reading, you can subscribe to the 'Daily Sail' (http://thedailysail.com) for all the latest on what's been going on or check out the following current magazines for reports and photos...

  • Sail Magazine (USA) - May 2004

For Australian residents, there will also be a feature story about my International Moth on Channel 10's kids program 'Totally Wild' this coming Monday (8 March) at 4pm. It will also be repeated at 6am the following day (Tuesday).

The International Moth Class of Victoria is also having their final three races of their State Championships this weekend at Inverloch. The racing is sure to be exciting and close due to the inlet in which we will be racing in. Come down for a look if you happen to be in the area. Over the next few weeks I will be concentrating on trying to secure funding for the next 12 months for international travel and racing. If a major sponsor is received, I will also be launching a new moth later on this year, that will improve on weight, strength and hydrofoil technology on my current boat, AUS 9329.

Will also be developing and testing a new KA sail in the next few months too with the aid of guru sail designer, Andrew McDougall. We will be hoping to use this sail in the up and coming European Championships in the UK.
